Residential Courses at Hawkwood College in Gloucestershire (Spring and Summer)
There is great competition to get on these courses, there are a maximum of 20 places on each course. The Spring Course runs from 4pm on Thursday through to 12 noon on Sunday. The Summer course runs from 4pm on Friday through to 4pm on Sunday. I mail out leaflets and booking forms generally in the September of the preceding year. When the existing students have been allocated their places, the remaining places are made available to new students - these are offered on a first come first served basis. The invitations are all posted together and the first booking forms with deposits, received get the places - the rest are returned.
These courses give students the opportunity of spending an exciting and creative weekend at Hawkwood College. The aim of these courses is to help develop student’s own ideas. Working in any format, they can choose many different mediums and hand or machine stitch to create a very personal set of samples, a sketch book, a journal or unique piece of work.
The courses for 2012 are all fully booked.
To be put on the mailing list for future courses, please click here » and please let me have your postal address in order that I may contact you in the event of a space becoming available.

About Hawkwood College
Hawkwood is an early 19th century country house built on an ancient site at the head of a small Cotswold valley. It is within an ‘area of outstanding natural beauty’ and has 42 acres of beautiful gardens, woods and fields – there are also panoramic views down the Severn vale and the whole area provides a beautiful and peaceful setting for an adult education centre.
